OCTOBER CRAFT FAIR

Soroptimist Intl. of Noyo Sunrise is pleased to be hosting its 3rd annual Craft Fair at the Dana Gray Elementary School site on October 24-25, 2009. The craft fair will feature approximately 50 vendors with home-made wares, situated adjacent to the soccer fields. The event will take place 10-5pm Sat, and 10-3pm Sunday.

This fair will be held in conjunction with and adjacent to, the annual and ever-popular Skunk II (Girls Only!) Indian Summer Soccer Tournament.  (Name above linked to the soccer website). Sixty-four teams (approximately 4000 people) will be in town for this tournament, and the craft fair will be at the site of the tournament headquarters; within walking distance to all 8 school fields being played on.

This year for added exposure, in addition to advertising in the local newspaper, the fair is being relocated to the west lawn. The soccer players and others will be given "craft fair passports" to be stamped at each craft booth (you'll get stamps). A full passport is rewarded with a complimentary face painting by the girls' high school team.

Crafters are invited to purchase ads for the Tournament Program: deadline 10/15/09.
